RECirc, Incorporated is a private company affiliated with many national organizations, dedicated to improving Public Access Defibrillation (PAD).
Where is RECirc, Incorporated located and when was it established?
The Corporate Office is located in East Orleans, Massachusetts, and was established in 2004 to provide training and consultation services related to Automated External Defibrillators (AED’s).
What is RECirc, Incorporated mission?
RECirc, Incorporated is committed to providing the tools and training to the community as a means of impacting the serious threat of sudden cardiac arrest on society. Through progressive and innovative technology and training, we will deliver a continuing comprehensive program designed to educate and enable the public to act in this life threatening situation. RECirc, Inc. is comprised of a team of clinically trained individuals dedicated to improving public access defibrillation.
PAD is a public health initiative promoted by the American Heart Association and others which supports the concept of AED use by trained lay responders. (see ChallengingSudden Death, a publication by the National Center for Early Defibrillation)
What is an AED?
An AED, or automated external defibrillator is a portable device that automatically analyzes heart rhythms and advises the trained operator to deliver an electric current if the heart is in ventricular fibrillation.
What courses does RECirc offer?
We offer the traditional “live” instructor lead courses as well as an “on-line blended program” provided through Emergency University. We offer CPR and AED for the Professional Rescuer, CPR and AED for the Community and Workplace, AED (current CPR a pre-requisite), Basic First Aid, Essentials in Emergency Care and When Disaster Strikes Are You Ready.
Costs will vary depending on your organization’s needs, the course you choose and the model AED you choose to purchase. We will send you a course list on request with the various fees attached.
How do I know what course is right for our organization?
Generally speaking, the CPR/AED for the Professional is geared towards those individuals already in the healthcare field as their knowledge of concepts and terms is more expanded than a layperson’s. The CPR/AED for the Community and Workplace is geared towards the individual in the marketplace with no working medical knowledge. The AED alone is most appropriate for those current in CPR who wish to gain a more profound knowledge of the application of an automated external defibrillator. Email us if you are in doubt.

Why should I take a CPR/AED course?
Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) can strike anyone, anytime, anywhere, but it does not have to result in death. If the heart is shocked quickly with a defibrillator, the victim can survive. You are the first link in the Chain of Survival!
